Exploring the Wild Elegance of Nature
The well poised female coyote, following her mate’s trail and scent, keeping up, with balance and swift. In the echoes of winter and a lurking mating season, it is important for the pair to keep up with each other.

polar bears
Comfort and ease possesses this female Polar Bear as she patiently paces the stretch of shoreline separating Hudson bay with the vast tundra. After surviving another season on land, she is healthy and ready for the bay to freeze, bringing her bountiful prey to her apt fingertips.

BENGAL TIGERS

Chakradhara’s subadult male tiger, about 15 months old, learning to hunt and survive in the Indian Bandhavgarh jungle in late April 2024. Not only are his paws very large but so is his appetite! The site of my first Tiger chilled me in the oppressive heat, down to my core. A journey of pure immensity throughout.
Arctic Fox
The privilege of witnessing an arctic fox family is a true gift from nature. A mama, papa and three cubs surrounded the hills and beach in Hesteyri, playing, seeking, rolling, tumbling, scavenging and protecting.

Brooks Falls and Kamai National Park trip was other-worldly to say the least. To be lifted every morning by float plane and drift down Copper and Gibraltar Rivers, to live silently by these hefty, intentively focused creatures is something I’ll never forget. Lives are mortal and care is needed to preserve their space.
RED FOX IN WASHINGTON

The close knit families of foxes and wild dogs in general is incentivizing. The adults all take on parenting rolls and will also adopt pups that do not belong to them. It was so energizing to watch the families play, hunt and feed. They can also be impressionable, which is why it is so important to keep a distance, do not interact and do not feed, as is true with all wildlife.

“Exploring remote and harsh locations on Earth to photograph disappearing fauna is a must for me. Using my experiences and my photographs as a teaching tool for conservation and safeguarding, is paramount.”
